Amster is an energetic & refined type created in Chile by Francisco Gálvez. Designed with a clear idea on how refinement & austerity can meet harmoniously, Amster builds a text that combines high readability and great personality. Amster is one of the most complete type families of nowadays industry. It has five weights of roman & cursive fonts, all fully equipped with ligatures, all the kinds of figures, long & short swashes in the cursives, contextual features, symbols, programmed ornaments, and more. Amster is a very versatile typeface, it allows for the widest range of applications: from screen to print, from small text to display sizes, from science to poetry.
